Finding your footing in adulthood

For young women working through college, early career, relationships, independence, identity, and the question of what they actually want next.

How it works

A relationship built over time.

Coaching works best when there is enough consistency to notice patterns, try new approaches, and come back to what happened.

Coaching vs. therapy

Different kinds of support. Both can matter.

Coaching focuses on self-understanding, goals, choices, skills, and forward movement. It can complement therapy, but it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

Coaching can help with
  • Building confidence and self-trust
  • Navigating decisions and transitions
  • Practicing communication and boundaries
  • Turning insight into practical action
Therapy is the right fit for
  • Mental health diagnosis or treatment
  • Trauma processing and clinical symptoms
  • Crisis, self-harm, or safety concerns
  • Support that requires a licensed clinician

If coaching is not the right level of support, Rebecca will say so and encourage connection with an appropriate licensed professional. Rise With Rebecca is not a crisis service.

Parent FAQs

Clear answers before getting started.

How involved are parents in coaching?

For clients under 18, a parent or guardian participates in onboarding so everyone understands goals, logistics, privacy, and safety. Ongoing communication is thoughtful and age-appropriate, while protecting the trusting space a teen needs for coaching to work.

What will Rebecca share with me?

Rebecca will explain communication expectations before coaching begins. Session details are generally private, while safety concerns are never kept secret. Progress updates can focus on themes, skills, and support needs rather than a play-by-play of conversations.

How do I know whether my teen needs coaching or therapy?

Coaching can be a strong fit for growth, confidence, relationships, decisions, and transitions. Therapy is more appropriate when a teen needs diagnosis, treatment, trauma work, or support for significant mental health symptoms. An intro call can help clarify scope, but it is not a clinical assessment.

What if my daughter is unsure about coaching?

That is okay. The intro call is designed to be low-pressure and gives her a chance to meet Rebecca directly. Coaching should feel collaborative and never like something being done to her.

Are sessions virtual?

Private coaching is designed to be accessible virtually. Any location-specific classes, Somatic Sculpt sessions, yoga, or workshops are listed on the Classes + Events page.
